ACK!

Here is a really ugly sweatshirt that aptly describes my mental and emotional state these days:

And here is a video that was able to cut through that stress and bring a smile to my droopy maw:

Hahaha! Corgi rodeo! That's so great. Like a salve to the soul.

Via, where you can find many other adorable animal videos as well.

Something magical happened

Last night I was walking home, and something magical happened to me. I was waiting at a red light, lost in stressful thoughts, when I felt something softly brush about my ankles. I looked down, and what was it? It was the floppy ears of a basset hound, gently knocking into me as he enjoyed his evening walk.

Thank you, Mr. Hound, for brightening my day! I immediately texted Syd, even though I'm sure she already knew about the incident - her heart is made of puppies, you see. So she knows this stuff. She just senses it.

Guide for a stress-free walk to work

Are you overcome with fretting and anxiety? Cause I am. Here is a guide for how to start your day off right by having a worry-free walk to work.

1) Select a loud song to which you like to rock the eff out. This one was my selection today:

2) Press play. Make sure the volume is fairly loud.
3) Every time you realize that you have ceased to rock, and instead allowed worries about your wedding, your job, your finances, your moldy shower curtain, your dusty baseboards, or your wedding to enter your head, start song over, and increase volume.
4) Arrive at work deaf.
5) Have a great day!
